As your member of Congress, I’m committed to bringing the voices of Colorado’s 7th Congressional District with me to Washington. This summer, I traveled across our district to host open and productive conversations about the issues that matter most to people like you.

Do you think Congress should do more to support rural communities?

I visited communities across our district over the past few weeks and loved talking with people in Fremont County about what makes it such an incredible place to live. I met with local leaders and visited innovative businesses, like Estes Industries in Penrose. We learned about their work getting kids interested in STEM and the aerospace industry, as well as how they’re expanding job opportunities for Coloradans.

I also had the chance to visit and talk with veterans at Bruce McCandless Veterans Community Living Center in Florence. I am so grateful for this incredible place and the people who take care of veterans who are struggling with dementia and memory loss. Unfortunately, the need is much greater than what they alone can accomplish. I’m committed to doing everything I can in Congress to support our seniors and veterans.

The 7th District represents the heart of Colorado and includes people from all walks of life. From the suburbs to the Arkansas River valleys, from the Front Range foothills to Rocky Mountain peaks – our people and ideas are just as diverse as our geography.
