It is the greatest honor of my life to be able to represent my community in Congress. I grew up in this district and served in the Colorado state legislature for a decade before heading to D.C. to increase opportunities for regular people like me. While far too many people in Washington are focused on partisanship and dysfunction, I’ve spent this first year working on delivering real results.

We’ve worked on legislation to address the opioid crisis, increase access to affordable housing and childcare, and improve lives across Colorado. I’ve met with people across our eight counties and my team has helped thousands of residents, secured millions in grant funding for our district, and so much more. During this first year in office, my team and I have closed over 1,000 constituent cases, returned over $3 million to residents through casework, helped secure $74 million in grants, and responded to 100,000 constituent emails, calls, and letters. My office has held dozens of events and I've attended more than 160 community meetings, events, and tours across the eight counties that make up Colorado’s 7th Congressional District.

Since the beginning of the year, I've introduced 29 bills, 23 of which are bipartisan and three that were passed by the U.S. House of Representatives. I've cosponsored 308 bills this year, including measures to lower costs, support veterans and seniors, protect women’s reproductive health care, fund child care and affordable housing options, and protect the environment.
