I visited communities across our district over the past few weeks and loved talking with my neighbors in Lakewood about what makes this such an incredible place to live. I visited a senior living facility where I had the honor to speak with residents and help unveil a “Wall of Honor” to celebrate the heroic actions of veterans living there. I will always support facilities that allow our seniors to age with the dignity and respect they deserve.

I also visited some of the beautiful outdoor spaces that make Colorado the best place to live – but it will only stay that way for kids like my son, Davis, if we protect it. As a longtime resident of Lakewood, I’m dedicated to protecting our water and air quality, increasing our resiliency against wildfires, and preserving our environment for generations to come.

The 7th District represents the heart of Colorado and includes people from all walks of life. From the suburbs to the Arkansas River valleys, from the Front Range foothills to Rocky Mountain peaks – our people and ideas are just as diverse as our geography.
