Congressional Art Competition

Dear [firstname]John,

We announced the winners of our 2023 Congressional Art Competition! We had 95 amazing art pieces submitted from 16 high schools across Colorado's 7th Congressional District.

The student art hung at Red Rocks Community College for the community to enjoy, and the winning entries were chosen by a panel of local arts professionals. The first place winner will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for a year, and runner-up entries will be displayed in my Lakewood, Cañon City, and Washington D.C. offices. There are so many talented students across our district, and this was a great opportunity to see their brilliant artwork on display. This was not just a celebration of our students and their work, but also of our public schools and art programs. I'll continue working to protect these programs, so that students of all backgrounds can continue to express themselves creatively.
