It’s the honor of my lifetime to be able to represent you in Congress. One of the best parts of this job is getting out into the community to meet with people and see all the incredible things that make Colorado’s 7th District the best place to live.

I also made sure to stop at the community staple, 4 Kings Bar and Grill, for lunch with Silver Cliff Mayor Buck Wenzel where we talked about some of the postal service issues residents are experiencing. Since the town lost its unique ZIP Code in 1991, there have been prolonged delays in mail and package delivery, as well as extensive errors with postal service in both Silver Cliff and Westcliffe. I sent a letter to Postmaster General DeJoy in February urging him to restore the original ZIP Code and fix these problems.

Our team is excited and ready to assist constituents who are having issues with the federal government. That includes everything from backlogged veterans’ benefits to missing social security checks, stalled passports, and more.
